Sketch I made for a challenge where you could win a pair of kiboots.
unfortunately I did not win, but I thought it was nice to share this sketch with you.

new business cards! (yeah, again)

I wasn't really satisfied with my current businesscards, so I designed some new ones!
Really like them now!
I see the quality of the image is really low, that's not how they look in real life of course.

Graduated!

A few pics of my graduation, and a sneakpeak of my work hanging in the 'Praediniussingel' in Groningen. Last picture is an article out of the newspaper. The subscription says that the exhibition is well visited already.

For the graduation exposition I needed new business cards! Can't wait to receive them, hope they'll look ok!

It's been a while

since my last post, but here I'm again! I'm very busy with graduation at the art school.
For my final assignment I'm working on a redesign for a children's book.

Pimped my sketchbook!

Bought a new sketchbook lately, and pimped it with very cute cupcakes from the 'Xenos'.
Ofcourse I made some new sketches in it, tried out my liquid water colours!

 

 

ATC's

I found the idea of making atc's at a dutch forum, really like it! Here is a description of it from wikipedia:

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards,  or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (63 mm X 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.

Wednesday was my last day at my internship. Too bad, had a great time there. The last day I've made a stamp to decorate my new sketchbook with.

Liked the idea of birds that flew out of her hand, so I liked to develop the sketch so I could

print it on a shirt. I'm happy with the result! I'll upload a better picture later.
